My client who are a leading name in the Energy and utilities sector are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Design engineer to join them.
* This role is home based with potential 1 day per month travel to London*
Role:
We are seeking a senior products electronics design engineer with equally great hardware and firmware skills and exception RF design to work on state-of-the-art, low power, wireless products in our portfolio. You will have experience of taking products from concept through to high-volume manufacture and DFM/DFT/NPI requirements will be key to the successful design process. You will be required to take a Hands-on prototyping approach. As we apply a lean start up methodology you will be part of a fast working, challenging and dynamic environment.
Experience:
- 5 years experience
- Hardware and Firmware experience
- RF Design- 868MHz, Thread, Bluetooth, Zigbee, 6lowpan and Wi-Fi
- RF circuit, firmware and test experience
- PCB design and layout - circuit analysis and simulation, fault analysis
- Required to have experience in working with third party drivers and low level code and Middleware for Real Time hardware operation
- Good communicator able to work co-operatively in a team environment
- Passion for developing great consumer products and pride in creating them
