Senior Local Systems Administrator - Brussels, Belgium

Languages: ENGLISH with DUTCH and/or FRENCH

Skills and experience:

  • Advanced IT product knowledge and experience HW/SW
  • Highly autonomous and IT skilled in IT management tools
  • Very good skills in all of the MS Office applications
  • ITIL V3 Foundation MANDATORY
  • 5+ years relevant experience

Description of work:

  • Manage projects of implementation applying the IT change management cycle:
    • Collect, understand and challenge business requirements and IT solutions
    • Perform informal testing of the application
    • Define tests acceptance protocols
    • Perform the validation phase of the application
    • Deliver monthly waves of corrections applying the IT change management cycle
    • Prioritize/challenge the needs for correction
    • Perform the informal testing of the application
    • Execute System Acceptance Test Protocols (non-regression)
    • Ensure support to the business with the use of the application
    • Communicate and manage issues (IT tickets)
    • Ensure issues follow-up
    • Be the single point of contact between IT & BUS
    • Lead complex investigations
    • Ensure system is fit for purpose
    • Ensure validation state of the system
    • Take part to system future design
    • Ensure system is aligned with business requirements
    • Ensure system meets the quality standards
