Description
Stream have an urgent requirement for a DevOps/WebOps Engineer to work on a project in Newcastle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the continuous integration/deployment environment for a project. This includes ensuring that environments can be mobilised quickly in a repeatable fashion.
Skill-set/experience:
- Understanding of common web application architectures
- Experience of configuring and managing Linux Servers
- Experience of Scripting and configuration tools such as Perl, Python, Powershell, Ansible etc
- TCP/IP Network/Internet Troubleshooting experience
- Experience of helping build an agile continuous development and deployment environment
- Exposure with Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Travis-CI, Go etc
- Automation experience (Puppet, Chef, Saltstack etc)
- Exposure to Agile working methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Understanding of DevOps working practices
BPSS, DISCLOSURE SCOTLAND or SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
