IT Business Analyst - Dutch Speaking
Whitehall Resources is looking for a Dutch speaking, Senior Business Analyst for a contract placement with our client based in Utrecht, NL.
Location: Utrecht, NL

Duration: 5 Months
Rate: Euros Market
Required experience:
* 5 or more years' experience in private, retail and corporate banking/finance
* 5 or more years' experience in business analysis
* 3 or more years' experience in SQL-queries
* Knowledge of and Experience with Financial Risk Domain
* Knowledge of and experience with:
Activities include:
* Create and maintain business process models.
* You define systems and project scope/objectives through research, fact finding and elicitation with a solid understanding of business, systems, and requirements.
* You provide high impact (strategic and tactical) advice on a senior management level.
* You translate business requirements into (possible IT) solution requirements.
* You are responsible for requirements documentation and assist in developing and deploying the solution.
* You participate in testing of applications against requirements.
* You represent the department and your team and act as a reference point for staff colleagues and the business partners.
* You develop and maintain knowledge of business and business architecture.
* You continuously work to increase knowledge and to be familiar with best practices.
* You translate the required BI project work into user stories and ensure that these are ready for the development team to use as basis for development and testing
* You work with business users to ensure they can understand the data model and can use it to meet their needs
* You coordinate changes from start to finish through the chain.
The Profile:

* You are good at detecting, understanding and documenting customer's wishes and needs; responding and anticipating to this. You think from a customer's perspective and are aimed at realising customer value and improving service provision.

* You are able to relay requirements, ideas and opinions clearly, comprehensively and correctly (in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing). You have working knowledge of Use Case diagrams and Use Case specifications.
* You set high requirements to the quality of products, services and processes and act accordingly.
* You have extensive knowledge of and experience with wholesale and retail banking and ICT in general and credit risk in particular.
* You have a Can do mentality to explore alternative workarounds.
* You understand the benefits of continuous delivery and are able to convey these benefits to the product owner
* You adopt, and help the business adopt, a continuous delivery mindset (increased focus on prioritisation, continuous grooming of backlog, etc.)
* You can facilitate a workshop
* You know how to use your influencing skills when necessary
* You know how to work with data
* You understand the data (domain knowledge)
* You know how to model data
* You are proficient with querying the data
* You can quickly identify concepts and contexts, you quickly understand the language of the business and the team, the organisational structure and domain knowledge, and you make new approaches quickly your own.
* You have a getting things done and hands-on mentality to coordinate changes from start to finish through the chain. You have the ability to develop a helicopter view over the system and the current changes.
