PAYMENTS ANALYST
CHESTER BUSINESS PARK
6 MONTH CONTRACT
Bank of America is currently seeking to recruit a Payments Analyst to work as part of the Account Payable Finance division in the offices based in Chester Business Park, Chester.
The Payments Analyst will report into the Payment and Affinity Operations Manager who looked after the Payment and Affinity Operations Team. This team are responsible for processing payment requests from a variety of sources across the business including personal expenses, Affinity Commission and customer related payments. In addition, the Team are responsible for reconciliation of Finance owned bank accounts and maintenance of the Finance mandates
Key skills for a Payments Analyst:
- Demonstrable experience in a Finance, Payments or Reconciling role
- Solid knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience of Oracle Purchasing, or equivalent system
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities of a Payments Analyst:
- Process and validate vendor invoice/payment requests
- Manage the payment process for allocated vendor accounts, ensuring that invoice ageing is within agreed tolerances
- Process daily control reports, ensuring all control requirements are adhered to and all journals are uploaded and posted within the required deadlines
