On behalf of one of our clients, a financial institution located in Luxembourg, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Functional Business Testers (f/m) financial area Luxembourg F597
Field of Activity
Our clients projects are being developed, tested and implemented under the Summit methodology.
Business Acceptance Testing is an important part which needs to be done by business experts in order to make sure the developed functionality fits the business needs.
This position is about BAT in the area of connectivity media used by our customers. These are CreationOnline, Swift, CreationDirect, Vestima and X-Act.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Understanding the clearing and settlement business, preparation and execution of the Business Acceptance Testing and Operability Testing in order to ensure that the new, modified functions, services meet the business or systems specifications as defined and agreed. Provide input, and support the business readiness stream.
Qualification & Skills
- Basic knowledge of financial products (bonds and equities)
- Swift knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience in testing activities
- Good practice of MS Office products
- Written and spoken English mandatory
Detailed Process Description
Preparation
- Analyse/understand the System Requirement Analysis (SRA) and or System Design Specifications (SDS) documentation
- Based on the requirements/specifications of new functionalities, prepare the Business Acceptance Criteria (BACs) and related scenarios
Perform/execute
- Execute the BACs (input test scenarios, instructions, )
- Document the test results
Issue resolution
- Raise issues encountered by using the issue tracking tool as requested by the project
- Contribute actively to the issue resolution by indicating the observation made,
- Document the issue and the solution within the tool or any database as requested by the project team.
