SuccessFactors Service Manager

A SuccessFactors Service Manager is urgently required for an ASAP start for a long-term lucrative project with one of our leading Amsterdam based clients in the Financial sector.

Our client is looking for an experienced SuccessFactors Service Manager, who has a background in supporting SuccessFactors, namely Talent Management - Employee Profile, Performance/Goals and Compensation. The SuccessFactors Service Manager will focus on reporting, working with local administrators & super users, aiming to achieve optimal use of SuccessFactors. Proactively, the SuccessFactors Service Manager will advise the customer on possible solutions and improvements by understanding the capabilities and boundaries of SuccessFactors. The role may also include configuration of the application - 20% of the role will require supporting in-house applications. Knowledge and experience of Linux, Apache - installation of software, version upgrade is required. The SuccessFactors Service Manager will work with the vendors, internal departments and the business to obtain evidence to support, then upload into the Operational Control Dashboard (OCD). The SuccessFactors Service Manager will plan in a timely manner tasks for ongoing controls.

The SuccessFactors Service Manager will IDEALLY HAVE 65% + of the following skills and experience -

  • Compensation
  • Experience with (HR) Process design
  • Good knowledge and practice of the ORD, able to build calculated formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience with employee profile in SF and its data model objects, limitations of SF reporting
  • Very good knowledge of excel: conditional formatting, pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formulas and building of macros.
  • Good communication & relationship skills
  • Experience with application support is desired (BiSL/ITIL)
  • Agile way of working
  • MS Office tools, capable of manipulating data in Excel or MS-Access.
    Affinity with data & interfacing processes
  • Consulting skills, technical watch on upcoming product upgrades, and ability to come forward to customers with relevant improvement proposals.
  • Able to translate HR process requirements to configuration
  • Knowledge of supporting in-house applications on internally hosted systems
  • Ability to maintain software on internally hosted applications
  • Ability to install and uninstall applications on internally hosted applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot/test/migrate on internally hosted applications
