Role Purpose:
This position sits within the Global Compliance MI & Data Governance group, which provides qualitative and quantitative compliance management information (MI) covering all lines of businesses across the world. The MI is aimed at assisting HSBC's management of compliance risk and at creating transparency towards external parties.
Accountabilities:
The position's primary responsibility is delivering technical solutions, focused on enhancing the firm's MI capabilities. The role is responsible for streamlining current information processes, improving our data collection, exposing new insight to existing manual data and creating reports. Additional responsibility is to improve our data management via best practice in data collection, modelling, security, transform and accessibility
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

Extensive hands on experience with Qlikview and plugins like Nprinting

Ability to create reports and dashboards from a variety of technologies that include Qlikview, Cognos and VB Excel

Ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets, data storage, ETL and Datamodelling
