Infrastructure Service Architect - SC Cleared/Eligible - London/Manchester
Square One is looking for a Infrastructure Service Architect to come on board for a 4 month contract based in London & Manchester where you would be expected to work between the two.
The role is for a Senior Service Architect to bridge the gap between Service Mgmt and Technology. This role is an opportunity for a very strong Manager/SM to land and then build a team. It will be based between Manchester and London
The client are migrating and remediating a number of their applications onto new kit which is effectively a private cloud.
- Review existing and future designs to determine and document how the technology, architecture and application changes will impact Service Management (Service Desk, Change, Capacity, etc.)
- Review and assure the Hosting SLA and OLA requirements to assure that the new solution with its common shared platforms can support the migrating applications
- Work alongside the Target Op. Model and Technical teams to review the detailed integration plan (ie are applications prepared for Hosting; do they meet monitoring, capacity planning, run books, recovery/resilience requirements before they are reintroduced to live service)
- Further validate and document Future Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity requirements with an initial focus on Hosting and the teams and locations that will support these services
This is an initial 4 month contract role where you can be based in either London or Manchester however you will be expected to travel to the other site.
Exepnses are paid when working away from your base location.
This role is looking to start immediately with interviews scheduled this week.
