SQL DBA being sought for global financial organisation. You will part of the team Economic & Statistical Research for the Nordics. The team provides analytical support for all business lines and management. We provide Business Intelligence systems for self-service analysis, statistical services for both recurring statistics and ad-hoc questions. This position will backfill the current lead architect. Until the migration the system is to be considered live, business critical and with limited test environment and the ability to learn quickly the data model and ETL process will be of essence.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Working together with the remaining team to maintain the current DWH.
- Taking the lead on the migration of the technology to technical operations.
- Working with technical operations to potentially re-design the data model to fit the new system.
- Taking the lead and working with the team on potentially re-designing Business Intelligence solutions that need to be converted as a result of the migration.
- Given time, support the development of the new research data platform.
The DWH is also connected to two BI systems (Business Objects and Qlikview) and experience with either of these or both will be meriting. The role will require an advanced SQL profile ie intimate familiarity with T-SQL and DWH related technologies (MS SQL Server, relational databases, RDBMS, ETL process using SISS). As this role will take the lead on the migration project we want the candidate to have some experience working in large scale projects and some project management expertise will be meriting.
