INTERIM CATEGORY MANAGER - £150 - £250 p/day - 3 months initially
My client in the South West requires an immediate Interim Procurement professional to join the team on a 3 mont contract initially. There is a possibility that it will be extended.
The ideal candidate will have experience in either the Public Sector or Utilities Industry and also have:
- Significant experience in procurement including strategic sourcing
- Equivalent experience in other commercial discipline with strong evidence of transferable skills
- Experience of commercial and contractual negotiation of supply chain contracts
- Experience of negotiating complex supply contracts including change management, TUPE, asset transfer, EU Procurement regulations
- Experience of e sourcing including e Auctions and application of supplier qualification systems
- Experience/knowledge of AchillesUVDB, UVDBVerify and Curtis Fitch e sourcing or equivalent
- Experience of electronic purchase systems, SAP, Ellipse etc
- Experience of working in a small project team
- Compliance with company purchasing procedures
- Full clean driving licence
