Job Title: Enterprise Architect - Oracle Retail Suite
Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 4/5 Month's - Extension extremely likely
Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit an Enterprise Architect join their business in Dublin.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:
1. Thought leadership
a. Provide review and comments in Design council (Architecture forum) where new change initiatives get discussed
b. Propose proactive initiatives along Business / Digital, Data, Solution and Infra that would add value to Client's landscape
c. Understand latest and greatest and innovations in Retail domain, and socialize in CTO / Enterprise Solutions forums
2. Delivery
a. Have a good understanding (at least at a conceptual level) of the current architecture / technology landscape at Client includes Oracle Financials, Oracle Retail Suite, IBM ESB, RedPrairie WMS, amongst others.
b. Mentor and provide architecture assurance for their deliverables - Oracle Retail suite and custom web development (bolt on to the Oracle platform). Would include
i. owning solution (app/integration) & data architecture documents
ii. functional and non-functional requirements management
iii. review cross - functional and cross program dependencies
iv. appreciate, understand and factor architecture & delivery risks and provide suitable mitigation plans
v. support the program management team in delivery
3. Consulting
a. Own and run workshops in the CRP / design phase including e.g. Non-functionals
b. Contribute and participate in design wall through sessions, and defend solution architecture & design.
c. Challenge Oracle's proposed design and ensure completeness and suitability
d. Work alongside Oracle in developing and proposing a roadmap (upgrade) and new surround / complementary tools to the Oracle suite
