Front End Developer - Creative Communications Agency - 1 - 3 Month - HTML, CSS, WordPress - £p/d
My client is a creative communications agency based in London, who are looking for a Front End Developer to join their team on a 1 - 3 month contract. Their clients range from new brands through to large government organisations, who they assist through the entire project life cycle from conception and branding, through to UX/UI design and development. Their aim is to build sites for their clients which help to convey important social messages through work that showcases top class design and outstanding functionality.
You will be working on a team of 6 other developers, as part of the Creative Department. This cross functional department includes designers, art directors and the UX team and you will work closely with these teams from the beginning of the creative process. The websites that are built vary in size and complexity, and there is a continuous stream of bespoke WordPress sites to be built. It is important that you have experience working with this CMS, as well as having an appreciation for design and outstanding Front End development skills. You will be joining the team to work on a complex build up until the end of March, which is likely to then extend into the future.
You will need the following skills for this project:
- HTML5
- CSS3/SASS
- JQuery
- Wordpress (PHP)
- Git - using Beanstalkapp for repository
You will be encouraged to share your own ideas and have a strong input throughout the process.
