My client a global entertainment network is on the hunt for a Research Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in their West London Head office and help support the Global Content team.


This position is to help support the Global Content team and will report in to the Director of Content Research. This role is based in London and will mean day to day co-ordination with the Research Manager for Content.

The overarching aim of this role is to help understand the performance of programming and channels across the world.


  • Assist the research manager in compiling weekly and monthly channel reports across 30+ markets globally
  • Run programming and channel data across multiple markets
  • Help track and analyse the importance of key content across the world using a methodology designed by the research team.
  • Collaborate with other research teams across regions and local markets
  • Pro-actively assist in the tracking and evaluation of new content across our key markets.
  • Explore new methods for data tracking, aggregation and display.
  • Assist members of the team on ad-hoc projects involving qualitative and quantitative data.


  • At least 1 year experience in a research team
  • Preferably a knowledge of TAM systems and a working knowledge of Advantege
  • Strong numeracy skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Working knowledge of peoplemeter data analysis system AdvantEdge
  • Ability to manage workload and to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Passion for TV, (new) media, factual and lifestyle entertainment programmes
  • Customer focused and ability to demonstrate diplomacy, tact and integrity
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to use initiative
