Job Description:

  • Be able to create and own the detailed technical design meet business requirements by leveraging the capabilities available in IBM Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite. This includes applying a strong knowledge of the following:
  • Application Platform
  • Distributed Order Management
  • Delivery and service scheduling
  • Cross-Channel Integration Solutions (ie IBM Sterling Call Center, IBM Sterling Store, IBM WebSphere Commerce)
  • Supply Collaboration
  • Global Inventory Visibility
  • Reverse Logistics
  • Logistics Management
  • Business Intelligence
  • Responsible for organizing discussions/workshops with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Be able to offer business and technical expertise to evaluate and choose between solution alternatives; assist with balancing costs with capabilities and priorities.
  • Should be able to formulate and publish technical designs and obtain customer sign-offs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the solution is successfully build and delivered in-line with agreed customer requirements.

Background Experience:

  • 10+ years of application development experience in the Sterling DOM application to include, configuration, custom extensions, and user exits.
  • 3-4 full life cycle Sterling OMS Implementations across geographies and domains.
  • 8+ years' experience in Java development with XML, JMS, and testing using JUnit.
  • 5 years of experience in designing, building, testing and deploying enterprise application and integrating solutions, developing a large scale system and systems integration.
  • Prior experience in any of Retail, Logistics, Warehouse Management or Telco domains.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
