DevOps Engineer (Drupal)
Exciting opportunity to work with an Atlanta household name and global technology leader as a DevOps Engineer working in cloud space with AWS.
In this DevOps position, you will be a key player in the build, deployment, release and continuous integration of bringing Drupal to AWS. You will be working with docker containers and have the ability to troubleshoot Drupal infrastructure related issues and assist with Drupal development. In addition, you will be responsible for working with the Back End web Servers and ideally have experience with Nginx, Elastic Search and Linux OS knowledge. Understanding of QA methodologies is helpful as you will be collaborating with QA on test development and defect reporting processes. This is a high profile, enterprise-wide project where you will gain valuable experience and exposure to many groups within the organization.
This is a 6 month contract with the potential to extend with a leading enterprise organization in Atlanta, GA. REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years professional experience with strong/recent experience working in a DevOps environment
- CI - Continuous Integration and build deployment tools (Git, Bamboo OR Jenkins etc.)
- AWS technologies (For example: EC2, S3, RDS)
- Experience with Web Servers and technologies (Any of the following: Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Mongodb, Memcache, Reddis, Varnish, Elastic Search)
- Linux knowledge
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience developing PHP/Drupal modules (Drupal 8 is a plus)
- Docker
- Elastic Search
- Shell Scripting (preferably Bash)
