UX Engineer - HTML5, SASS, JavaScript, Illustrator, Sketch - London
My client a global financial organisation requires a UX Engineer to work closely with design, product and development to produce interactive components ready for development implementation. In line with clients expectations you will have high attention to detail ensuring pixel-perfect delivery of elements across products.
- Convert high-fidelity designs into working, interactive components
- Advise, collaborate and discuss feedback with UX designers and developers
- Work closely with development to help with final implementation
- Meet various project requirements while meeting tight deadlines
- Iterate constantly on animations, subtle detail and theming to provide the best user experience
Skills & Experience:
- HTML, SASS and JavaScript development experience
- 4 years developing/designing websites and applications
- Strong knowledge of Illustrator/Sketch
- Experience with SVG, HTML5 Canvas and Animation
- Strong sense for consistency, accuracy and attention to detail
- Responsive web design experience
- Agile or Scrum experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of source control software such as GitHub
- Well-organised with the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects
- Being able to work collaboratively with others in a lively environment
- Takes ownership of an issue through to the resolution
- Willingness to work extra hours as needed with the commitment to get the job done
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
