Description
This role is for a SAS Developer with experience of PC SAS 9.2 and SAS Server 9.4 including Enterprise Guide and Base SAS coding practices and methods.
The primary objectives will be to work with the project team and business stakeholders to:
- Assist and drive in the design of the project
- Creation of design artifacts (eg Functional Specification, Interface Specifications, Low Level Design)
- Development of SAS code in SAS Server solution
- Provide analysis and development support to others within the project and Enterprise Information Management team
Requirements of the role:
- Works with colleagues within the Change department to understand the business problem/opportunity
- Supports the Project Manager with estimations, project planning and progress reporting
- Works with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers to establish the overall design
- Identifies risks of the recommended solution and proposes mitigation actions
- Works autonomously/as a team to deliver a robust, efficient & maintainable design
- Supports the project team to deliver the design and development
- Defines specifications to articulate the change to fellow developers/testers
- Develops robust, efficient & maintainable SAS Code to team standards
- Drive project knowledge transfer to internal colleagues
