Senior Architect/Service Design Architect
6 months: 400€- 450€ (contract)
Architects are responsible for specifying the optimum technical & most cost effective solution architectures for Mobile, Fixed, Core Network & Infrastructure technologies. The ensure that BSS architectures are aligned to a set of architectural standards. The Architect must have CRM and Billing experience in the fixed/mobile telco industry.
Design Architects work closely with strategic vendors, adopting a partnership approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take architectural ownership of specific elements of the overall systems estate.
- Ensure Technology architectures align with target architectures.
- Provide technology expertise and consultancy across Group Technology.
- Engage early in the technical assessment to better influence the project definitions so as to align with technical capability.
- Ensure the capacity of the key platforms is considered in solution designs in order to meet future demand
- Participate in governance steering & post investment reviews (PIR's) to ensure best practice & most cost effective solution designs are the norm
- Work closely with Principal Design Architects from across Group Technology, ensuring co-ordination across the teams eg setting up joint teams for all areas of governance including design guidelines & blueprints
- Influence commercial decisions to ensure optimal alignment with technical capabilities
- Work closely with strategic vendors, adopting a partnership approach.
- Adopt a commercial focus in vendor interactions.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Working knowledge of Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF)
- 2-3 years experience in the Role of Senior Technology Architect
- Exposure to and application of system standards such as 3GPP, eTOM,
