Oracle DBA - Teradata - Dublin
Based in the heart of Dublin our client is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with Teradata experience. Along with a proven track record of backups and recoveries with RMAN you will need experience of Oracle 9i, 10g/11g/Oracle RAC. You will be an important member of a team working within the telecommunications indsutry.
Skills required:
- Oracle S/W installation, DB upgrades/patching/migrations
- Should have Teradata experience
- Backup and recovery with RMAN
- Troubleshooting oracle instance/SQL performance issues
- Data replication with Oracle data guard (Physical standby)
- Data replication with Oracle Golden Gate
- Oracle RAC administration/backup recovery/performance trouble shootin, installation, configuration, Support
- Experience as Oracle DBA (Oracle 9i, 10g/11g/Oracle RAC) on SUSE Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows platforms.
- Oracle Database Upgrade, DB Migration, DB Clone, DB Refresh activities.
- Oracle Database installation, configuration, support.
- Database Design experience
- Very good SQL and Shell Scripting knowledge
