Messaging Product & Platform Engineer. One of my blue chip clients in Europe is urgently seeking a Messaging Product & Platform Engineer for a long term contract in Warsaw, Poland.
The Messaging Product & Platform Engineer will:
Primary responsibilities:
* Design and implementation of installation/configuration automation for Messaging products/solutions (PaaS)
. Technical documentation, project documentation, requirements management
. Defining Testscenarios and Testcases
. Messaging product/solution consulting and 3rd-Level support
. Securing current installations in conjunction with Service Delivery
. Raise and track product defects with the vendor (IBM, RedHat)
. Provide support for tracing and analysing defective applications ( in development and test)
Secondary responsibilities
* Suggest changes for enhancement to the tools, workflow, process and reporting.
The Messaging Product & Platform Engineer must have:
* Experience with WebSphere MQ, Tibco EMS
. Good knowledge of Shell-Scripting and tools (Shell, Ant, JIRA, Confluence)
. Good knowledge of Unix (RHEL, Solaris x86/SPARC)
. Good knowledge in SSL, certificate handling and PKI
. Good interpersonal skills the role involves coordinating activities with resources and communicating clearly to SME's and Application developers.
. Working knowledge on building RPMs for RHEL
. Working knowledge of IT infrastructure including virtualisations and Storage concepts.
. Degree level education
* Good English skills (spoken and written)
. German skills considered a bonus
