Description
I have a 4 months contract based in Sweden to start ASAP. If you have worked in Sweden before that would be ab bonus.
I am looking for a senior developer with a strong C/C++/Unix/Linux background. You have experience from working with large Legacy applications in complex system landscapes as well as modern web oriented applications. You have a working knowledge of SQL and database programming and can read and understand most procedural languages. You have experience from developing REST and SOAP WebServices/API's and are used to working with continuous integration, automated test and deployment.
Knowledge of the following technologies is very much appreciated and will get you up to speed quicker:
OpenVMS, DCL Scripting, DecForms, OracleRDB. As a person you are happy to share your knowledge and able to efficiently communicate with other development related roles. You know and enjoy working according to agile principles.
The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:
Development of business functionality in C++. Coach the other team members in best practices regarding C++ development on Pascal and Linux.

Knowledge:
C/C++, Pascal, VMS, Unix, Linux
Experience in:
