Description
I am currently recruiting for a large organisation based in Chester.
They are looking for a Vertica DBA with excellent SQL experience.
People who have also worked on AWS Redshift and also Greenplumb databases will also be considered.
- Develop data solutions and best practice using Linux based database technologies such as Vertica & MySQL.
- Work with ETL Developers/Designers to develop solutions and best practice using ETL technologies such as Talend.
- Strong Shell Scripting experience
- Very strong SQL skills and experience.
- Strong experience and knowledge of security principals with the ability to design and implement performant solutions with that best practice as a foundation.
- Understanding of best practice of ETL/ELT design to achieve best performance
- Significant database design and build experience with very large databases (VLDB) ideally on a distributed ParAccel platform.
6 Month Contract £400 - £430 per day
You will be based near Chester and 5 days on site.
