Description

We need a Technical Systems Analyst who will be responsible for documenting and understanding the interface needs in relation to a defined set of enhancements, where the interface transmission will be both SFTP and web services. This project is the implementation of a powerful and leading edge new pensions administration system on a client site. The Technical Business Analyst will ensure that an interface specification is accurately documented, accounting for any future proposed changes in the interface and manage the sign off process of these with the client. Preferred applicants will have experience of working with pensions systems.

Role:
*Analyse interface requirements to produce a detailed interface specification of the
*Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
*Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and interface requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: Project Request Form, Interface specification.
*Assist in the specification of how to map this back to the source database.
*Work independently with users to define concepts and under directions of Project Managers.
*Develop interface specifications according to standard templates using natural language. When complete run walkthroughs with the client and gathered feedback and amend as necessary.

This is a large programme, which will offer plenty of pace, pressure and variety. The ability to speak fluently in Cantonese would be a definite benefit.
