Senior Buyer - Contract - London
A market leading PE backed business is looking for a Senior Buyer to be a key figure in the tendering, supplier selection and presentation phase of multiple RFP/RFQ's.
You will be supporting the development and creation of an organisational Price Book insuring value for money and return on investment is achieved across a number of key strategic categories including: Telecom's Infrastructure and Equipment, Electrical Components, Colocation and Site Management.
Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Buyer will be pivotal in managing the NDA process, conducting new supplier reviews, preparing RFQ documents and carrying out negotiations with suppliers internationally.
The ideal candidate profile:
- Extensive experience of operating in an international direct buying role with focus on Equipment and Infrastructure - Telecom's and/or industrial experience would be beneficial
- Ability to identify potential new suppliers and work across a complex supplier list
- Track record of carrying out supplier evaluation and negotiations
- Experience of preparing presentations for senior management
- Excellent supplier selection skills and able to work with multiple RFQ/RFP's simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable in communicating across all levels of a business
- Happy to work in a greenfield environment
