C++ Developer (St Gallen, up to 90/CHF/hour)

My client in St Gallen, Switzerland got in touch this morning with a request for an experienced, English speaking C++ Developer.

The role is situated within the Medical industry and offers the successful candidate the chance to establish themselves with one of the worlds most respected pharmaceutical organisations.

Offering a unique working environment along with challenging and rewarding tasks, my client is looking for an experienced Software Developer with a focus on Application Development to join their international team.

Tasks:

* Development of medical software applications as part of international cross-functional team
* Testing of software and documentation of test results
* Support regulatory affairs team in medical device registration and handling of adverse events
* Innovation of unique features and drafting of patents
* Surveillance of emerging technologies and interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal peers in R&D, marketing, support and RA/QA

Successful candidates should have:

* Masters or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Informatics, Medical Informatics, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences
* 2+ years of experience in application development, preferably in the context of medical image processing
* An excellent background in native C++ development
* Fluent in English

Depending upon experience, the role can pay in the region of 90/CHF/hour and my client are due to begin interviews immediately.

The project is expected to last at least 12 months and consequently chances of contract extension are very high.
