Description

Release Manager with extensive Software release experience required to join global technology and communications company.

Location: Israel (The successful candidate must have the willingness and ability to travel or be based in Israel)

  • Proven ability to navigate, lead, and communicate effectively at multiple levels within the organization - from brainstorming with individual contributors to discussing strategy and release content with senior leaders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of release management processe
  • Management of processes, systems and functions to package, build, test and deploy changes and updates into a live, production environmen
  • Participate in the entire software development process and build and release cycl
  • Maintain responsibility for software source code, change control, configuration management, issue tracking, build and deployment proces
  • Identify, design, and develop tools to allow efficient configuration management, build, and release of software
  • Coordinate build schedules and work with all areas of application delivery to ensure final version and processes are up to organizational standards
  • Understanding of lab/environment management and how to effectively manage a release through the lab/environment and testing process
  • Experience enabling change in a high velocity environment
  • Strong analytical experience including data trending and analysis for senior leadership level presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • ITIL Certification
  • 2-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
  • 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
