Cloud Engineering Manager
One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking a Cloud Engineering Manager to join their multinational team in a dynamic environment, using cutting-edge technologies for an exciting, well-paying and a stable 12-24 month contract in Poland.
The ideal Cloud Engineering Manager will have the following skills/experience:
- Creating solution to enhance Customer on premises private cloud environment and develop it into a cost effective world class product
- Assessing and prioritizing requirements and work coming from global customers
- Take the technical (hands on) lead role within the team
- Manage small team Cloud engineering onsite and/or remotely
- Take ownership of several facets of our Cloud Computing Platform based on VMware (majority) and HP CSAproducts
- Design and create solution to enhance our private cloud environment and develop it into a cost effective world class product
- Mentor people in technical skills
- experience with Cloud Computing especially with the VMware family of product (must have) and HP CSA suite of products (advantageous)
- good project management and mentoring skills
- consulting and design skills
- Good working knowledge of HP and VMware products and automation tooling in general
- Experience with the VMware family of products and ideally the HP CSA suite of products
- Programming skills in JAVA, C and C++
- Scripting skills with tools for Linux, Solaris, and Windows including Perl and python and to integrate and use the VMware vSphere family of products
- educated to a University degree or equivalent
- fluent in English
- experienced in a Cloud Management (hands-on) or Cloud Architect role
- familiar with Linux, Solaris and Windows Operating systems
- familiar with Openstack, automation tooling and Software Defined Networking
- familiar with Dell or HP hardware fluent in English
- experience working with globally distributed teams and keen to work with people in many geographies
