For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced (senior level) Full Stack Development engineer to strengthen one of its multidisciplinary teams that delivers complex propositions for our clients. In this team you will work side-by-side with UX and Customer Journey experts on these propositions.

- Full Stack Application Development Engineer who is not afraid to be proactive towards other team members and other teams
- Discuss and decide with Product Owner, User Experience and Customer Journey experts on the content of the propositions

The focus is on high-quality mission-critical software delivered in time using iterative development with regular milestone demos, so that at the end there are no surprises about what we built.
Profile Full Stack Development Engineer:
- Bachelor / Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Great Dutch and English communication skills, verbal as well as written.
- You love technology and naturally stay up-to-date on relevant new developments.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution.
- You have hands on OO design experience and knowledge of software design patterns
- Good knowledge of OS fundamentals (e.g. Linux, Windows)
- Passionate about code quality and (integration) test automation (JBehave)
- Knowledge of Perfomance testing using Gatling is a pre
- Excellent knowledge of Java 7/8 including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x
- Knowledge of Spring Batch is a pre
- Working knowledge of AngularJS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of WebComponents and Polymer is a pre
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Grunt, NodeJS, Bower
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Working knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of Liquibase (for data migrations) is a pre
