Infrastructure Solution Architect - Contract - Hampshire
Square One are looking for and Infrastructure Solution Architect to come on board for an initial 3 month contract based in Hampshire.
Job summary:
Key Skills:
Broad range of knowledge across IT functions (Servers, storage, networks)
To be able to understand business requirements and business challenges and apply this knowledge when proposing solutions.
To be able to take customer requirements and translate these into supportable infrastructure designs, and to be able to justify or explain design decisions to peers or customers.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, Redhat Linux, Oracle Solaris, VMware Hypervisor
Understanding of multi-tiered application architectures - including web technologies and basic networking technologies.
A working knowledge of infrastructure related topics - AuthZ/AuthN, integration with LDAP/AD etc
Ability to take ownership of tasks and manage through to completion Adheres strictly to process and procedure, Low-level understanding of web technologies and protocols.
Encryption methods - both data in transit and at rest (SSL/certs), authentication, threat detection and prevention
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates starting immediately
