Senior Performance Engineer
For an innovative finance company based in Amsterdam, I'm looking for a Senior Performance Engineer. You will be part of a DevOps-team and responsible for the tuning of the OS, DB and Development environment. By running the necessary tools, you are able to accurately read the values and tune the components to optimize the platform and environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise the existing environment and platform
- Tune the OS
- Tune the DB
- Share the knowledge to the existing team
- Identifying the bottlenecks and swiftly fix the problem
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience with OS Linux RedHat performance tuning
- Experience with JVM performance tuning
- Experience with VMware performance tuning
- Experience with Apache Cassandra tuning (or similar)
- Living in or around Amsterdam
