Intuition IT is looking for a enthusiastic Splunk Admin for one of our key clients in Dublin, Ireland.
Skills:
- Having 5 - 7 years of experience in Splunk, Hadoop Admin activities.
- Due diligence report defining and recommending support requirements for long term managed service.
- Problem resolution related to the Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server for BAM solution.
- Provide recommendations to prevent and resolve Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server performance problems and possible future incidents for banking applications.
Role:
- Support any infrastructure or application related change activities on Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM Solution for various environments
- Monitor capacity and availability of Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution for various environments w.r.t to infrastructure
- Proactive performance monitoring and tuning through trend and exception reporting to avoid possible incidents on Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution
- Deployment of application changes as approved through the formal change management process
- Support or implementation of infrastructure changes (eg SSL renewal, OS patches) as approved through the formal change management process
- Performance reporting for analysis of incidents to increase service levels
- Taking part in technical discussions, as required, to ensure availability of Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution
- Support security hardening activities like patching and applying fix packs on Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution infrastructure environment
- Vendor co-ordination for various application/infrastructure on Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution related issues
- Installation of Forwarders, Heavy forwarders, Indexers,Search Head and Deployment server on BAM solution on existing or new infrastructure is in scope if demand management process is followed
