Description

Job Description:

  • 4-6 years experience on Microsoft SQL Server (2008R2 or above) as Administrator
  • Experience with data management, performance management, monitoring, optimisation
  • DBA activities backup, restoration and user management
  • Automation of daily monitoring activities, Annoymisation of production data
  • Identity and access management for all applications, database Servers. Compliance to Audit.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Installation, configuration and up gradation of Oracle database (Oracle 10g and 11g )
  • Knowledge of Monitoring & Administration of Oracle database in Solaris, Linux and Windows Platform
  • Create and maintain DBA jobs/scripts - database & transaction logs, log file cleanup, error log checking.
  • Evaluate Database storage requirements for current systems and future growth.
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation for databases, production support and end-users.
  • Perform Hot backup, Cold Backup. Export, Import Recovery under Various Scenarios (like recover corrupted database when the DB runs in archive log mode, Recover tables data when a user accidently drops it, etc).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database Performance Monitoring & Management
  • Provide guidance and direction to plan, implement and maintain database security and user accounts.
  • User Management, Creating Roles and Assigning Privileges.
  • Scheduling Database maintenance activities like purging,re-indexing, stats gathering, de-fragmentation etc.
  • Performing Daily Database Health reports for trend analysis and capacity planning of DB.
  • Generate& Examine the Stats pack, AWR, ADDM, and ASH Report on daily basis to major the Database performance
