Description

The team has the primary mission to define, implement and maintain tools supporting the software delivery life cycle.

As a consultant you will assist in the maintenance and the implementation of improvements on Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2015 to the development community.

Tasks
Collaborate with development teams to collect their requirements regarding the evolution of the tools
Upgrade and configure the product
Improve and implement Build process (XAML and vNext)
Improve the disaster recovery and monitoring process
Improve the Security and privileges
Improve the reporting and analysis
Improve the package management process (Nugets, Maven, Cran,...)
Improve the source code control and versioning process
Improve the quality policies
Improve the process template
Analysing .NET build failures
Maintenance and improvement of the virtual builder infrastructure
Share your expertise

Technical Skills and Background:
You have an IT degree, computer science or related field (graduate Bachelor, Engineering or Master) or equivalent by experience
You have a background in Microsoft oriented development with an in-depth knowledge of Visual Studio
You have experience in setting up Microsoft Team Foundation Server for a large user-base
You possess notions of windows server and architecture (clustering, load balancing)
You have proven programming knowledge in VB.NET and C#

Nice to have's
Knowledge or experience with different Source control/revision systems is a plus (GIT, Clearcase,...)
Knowledge or experience with Nuget, Maven or Gradle is a plus
Basic knowledge of Unix commands and Perl programming are assets
Past experiences in integrating a software product in the application development life cycle are an added value
Experience working in SCRUM team is a plus
