UX designer - User experience designer - Central London - 6 months extendable: Start in August/September

Fintech: UXD: UED: consultancy: information architecture: Greenfield: Large agile delivery team: Investment banking

UX designer - user experience designer needed join a newly formed agile digital software department, delivering internal tools, platforms & responsive applications/websites across web & mobile as part of a 3 year digital transformation piece.

UX designer - user experience designer will work as a consultant, working as part of an agile product development team, delivering software to the investment banking sector.

UX designer - user experience designer will work with other ux designers, visual designers as part of a large agile delivery team, alongside product management, scrum masters, UX designers, QA/test engineers & a large team of developers/engineers.

The role of the UX designer; user experience designer during this contract:

  • Shaping the user experience: UX
  • Propose conceptual ideas for projects
  • sketches/storyboards to visualise your UX/UI solutions
  • customer journeys/site maps and (IA) information architecture
  • creating wireframes and prototypes
  • Customer research and document technology trends
  • User research/user testing
  • Presenting work internally

UX designer; user experience designer should have experience with:

  • Delivering a wide range of user experience practices (evaluation, competitor benchmarking, usability testing and user research, user flow development, information architecture, user-centred design, wireframe delivery)
  • user testing principles
  • contributing to proposals in ideation and concept design
  • using customer insight to inform and shape your UX solutions
  • user experience methodology and practices including user-centred design
  • knowledge of wireframing tools such as Omnigraffle and Illustrator.
  • prototyping using tools such as Axure
