Description

We are looking for an experienced Strategy and Performance Manager to work within our Strategic Insights team which provides support to the business based from our London, Paddington site. The role is for 26 weeks initially and will pay £450 per day depending on experience. In this position your aim will be To support the development, articulation and dissemination of UK & Europe strategy and its execution

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge, skills and experience as follows:

Essential

  • Significant strengths in data analysis and preparing senior level presentations and papers for an Exec/board level audience
  • Experience in Real Time problem solving and identifying growth opportunities in the business preferably in a strategy context
  • Experience of analysis tools and techniques and familiarity with interviewing techniques
  • Ability to independently run workshops with a senior audience and facilitate group sessions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Knowledge

  • Analysis of market dynamics, profit pools, value chains, competitor strategies, regulatory environment, and strategic capabilities
  • Working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
  • Know-how of external subscriptions, databases and research firms for Financial Services
  • Good understanding of Life and pensions Industry, regulations, market landscape and future trends

Professional qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification ie. Graduate or Post Graduate in Business Management

Desirable

  • Experience in strategy and/or management consulting roles with other organisations
