A tier 1 investment is looking for a WebSphere specialist
Summary of the role:
- The role is for a WebSphere Application Server Specialist.
- Attending project calls, installing, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting.
- Putting projects into productions, raising changes, support live implementations.
- Report into Team lead and move onto other projects as well, someone else on the team will do the design then pass onto WebSphere Application Server Specialist who builds etc.
- Financial Services not required as long as you have multiple platform experience and administered MQ.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 3 years WebSphere Application Server
- WebSphere Portal experience version 7.0, 8, 8.5.
- Solid understanding and experience in a UNIX environment.
- Understanding of J2EE, Experience of Java, Web technologies and WebSphere Portal.
- Familiarity of Scripting languages such as Jython, Perl and Shell.
- Proven experience of building WAS/WP services in development environments
