Structural/Civil Engineer/London/5 month contract/SC or DV Clearance required/£350-£400 a day + expenses
Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join a renowned organisation in Central London on an initial 5 month contract, with potential to extend beyond this initial period. Although this role will be primarily based in London, travel will be required both nationally and internationally due to the nature of this role.
The key focus here will be for the structural engineer to provide specialist advice on projects, to support the project manager and other professionals involved with projects from the inception right through to the completion.
The projects involved will vary and range from local to world-wide assignments.
To be successful you will need to be a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council (CEng).
You will also need:
* Evidence of financial management ie ability to oversee budgets, and completion of projects within the time constraints
* Proven track record in leading design and construction teams through projects
* Knowledge of design software: AutoCAD, REVIT, Vectorworks, Sketch-up and Photoshop
* SC or DV Clearance
Working as a structural/Civil Engineer for this government body will require the need to liaise with overseas staff and you will be required to travel to accommodate the needs of projects, support and in providing expertise and progress reports.
With this in the mind you will need to have the flexibility to travel at short notice.
