My client a leading consultancy is seeking an IBM Mainframe Developer/Analyst to join their team.
As the IBM Mainframe Developer/Analyst you will be responsible for the development and modernisation of my clients existing IBM Mainframe. This role is development/Analyst project, but more as an Analyst as you will be tasked with analysing three IBM Mainframe applications. These applications are meant for decommission and being replaced.
Key skill and experience
*Detailed experience with IBM Mainframe development.
*Mainframe Modernisation projects.
*Document Archiving.
*Experience with API's
*Detailed experience with Cobol, PL/I, C++,
*Experience with DB2/Cobol programming/analysis - Strong analysis and design capabilities
*Experience developing new DB2/Cobol Mainframe batch programs.
*Experience maintaining existing DB2/Cobol Mainframe batch programs.
*Financial sector experience ideally within the capital markets area.
