RESPONSIBILITIES of Solution Architect
- The architect should lead and coordinate technical activities through the entire project and be an expert within the area, responsible for the architecture within the project.
- The architect will also support the project manager with effort estimation for the construction of the solution, and present the architecture deliverables for approval by the architecture board.
- A solid understanding of the banking capital markets and treasury domain and strong analytical skills is a requirement.
- Prior experience of system integration is a requirement; experience of specifically IT architecture landscape is a preference.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, as well as existing data models and reports, to understand the detailed data management requirements.
- Conduct data profiling, data cleansing, and codify business and data rules for automation.
- Interpret and assist clients with the design of data governance strategies for business requirements and enhance the maturity of an organization.
- Create Solution Architecture Document (SAD) for both application and information/data flows
- Create High-level project test strategy and Nordea security checklist
SKILLS REQUIRED by Solution Architect
- Successful candidate must have expertise in the Data warehouse (DW) and Business intelligence (BI) as well as be a Subject Matter Expert with experience on the described regulatory undertaking
- Besides expert-level solution architect competence, a self-propelled approach and excellent communication skills are necessary. The solution architect needs to be productive and proactive in an environment with rapidly evolving requirements. Experience of agile delivery projects is required.
- Demonstrate superior understanding of securities data and financial regulation for banks as well as bringing on board the experience and know-how from similar implementation initiatives
- Experienced in working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery mode and have good understanding of Teradata.
- The architect needs to be able to serve as a technical mentor in the project, and have very good knowledge of methods and techniques for sharing competency. Extensive, documented experience from architectural/solution design of complex IT solutions is required. The candidate must possess expertise on two or more technologies, and a broad-ranging knowledge of other relevant technologies.
