I am currently seeking an interim Content Servicing Specialist to work with our UK Technical Operations team based at Warner Bros.
Main Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for the servicing of required elements to internal and external clients in support of all of the Warner Bros. business units as requested via regular release/production schedules, availabilities/announcements and ad-hoc requests
- Utilise various internal systems and tools in order to: track requests, manage tasks, research and track assets, place and manage vendor orders, and enable automation.
- This position specializes in and exhibits expertise in servicing high end clients and/or distinct and complex delivery workflows.
- Contributes insight and experience and is responsible for tracking and fulfilling all content delivery requirements that may consist of various elements depending on client specifications, platform, market and/or business unit and may include, but not be limited to; picture, audio, subtitles, close captioning, menus, metadata, artwork, graphics, scripts and music cue sheets.
- Participates in a worldwide Servicing team that is responsible for researching assets, order fulfillment, tracking, troubleshooting and ensuring delivery of content to Warner Bros. partners and licensees. The Content Servicing Specialist will be required to multi-task and work in an agile fashion utilizing several different systems and tools.
- Responsible for timely follow-up and follow-through to ensure delivery completion to end client and properly escalates issues that require an elevated or accelerated review by management. This position requires a keen knowledge of content delivery best practices and standard operating procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years work experience related to content delivery and supply chain logistics. (DVD/BD, Internet, PC, set top box, EST/VOD, broadcast, etc.)
- Knowledge of/familiarity with:
- Video compression technology, applications, and codecs;
- Framerates, video bitrates, audio specs;
- Digital delivery mechanisms;
- Subtitles and closed captioning formats;
- Metadata/Artwork requirements, specifications and characteristics
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Must have good PC skills - including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary
