Front End Functional Tester
Front End Functional Tester required for a project with an exciting business in the insurance industry based in Stockholm, Sweden.
The quality of the company's processes and deliveries are extremely important and they are now looking for a tester for the Front End team. The consultant will be part of a smaller test team where there is a test manager but is expected to pursue activities independently. Work is conducted in close collaboration with end users in the business.
The Front End is one of their important applications in the field of Frontline. It is a Microsoft-based application with about 3,000 internal users in Sweden and Norway, amongst other things it handles their customers, products and insurance commitment. In the Microsoft area works with the latest technology for Windows applications and Web.
The consultant should have at least three years of practical experience in testing and preferably within business IT support.
They are looking for a social and responsible person with a solution-oriented attitude. Important properties are to be analytical, structured and proactive in the way they work.
Key areas of expertise include:
- Functional testing of business support applications
- Experience of large and complex system environments
- Experience of Microsoft technology
- Knowledge of TFS or similar defect, test and requirements management tools
- Experience of known/modern methods in testing
- Agile approach/Kanban/Scrum
- Experience in insurance is an advantage but not required
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
