I have a great new opportunity working for a leading engineering company. My client is in the market for a strong solutions architect to work on a highly bespoke system looking at new developments and enhancements all built in Java so a strong technical background is required. Alongside this you should have strong Business Analysis skills and Back End Testing knowledge.
Key responsibilities;
- Own, manage, develop and govern the end-to-end technical solution.
- Hold and chair regular Technical Design Authority forums with various business partners
- Ensure compliance with IT governance Checkpoints for security, architecture and service introduction.
- Synchronise release management strategy across the direct purchasing S2P Solution landscape.
- Support interface test planning.
- Support Technical cutover planning and migration
- Perform functional acceptance testing ahead of UAT
- Support the business in UAT definition and execution
- Define access controls for users & network configuration requirements
- Define the PI integration and detailed mapping between SAP Sourcing 7 and SAP ECC6
- Detailed interface design between SAP Sourcing, on-premise and third party systems
- Provide integration build assurance.
- Develop environment management and release management strategies
- Provide Build and configuration assurance.
Skills/experience:
- Strong technical skills in JAVA
- Experience as lead techno-functional-procurement strategy consultant for SAP Sourcing/CLM 9.0 providing deep technical and functional expertise as well as support and training.
- Experience as lead techno-functional-procurement strategy consultant for SAP Sourcing/CLM 9.0 able to conduct the review of SAP CLM's blueprint
- Ability to elicit requirements (functional, non-functional, user) using interviews, document analysis, and process walkthroughs
