Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. IT Program Manager for a long-term contract in downtown Chicago. The individual would be responsible for managing multiple Project Managers and projects tied to the most critical development and web application releases at the company. Individual will over-see the development of a new client web portal, which will be the primary way for customers to access their data. Individual should have program management experience in large enterprise environments utilizing Agile methodology. Having experience in a Director role or similar where individual was responsible for application or product delivery would be preferred, along with having a technical background. Individual should have at least three years of experience as a Program Manager, at least five years in project management, and at least ten years of total IT experience. PMP or PgMP certification is a big plus. This position is for a strategic leader who can lead complex and diverse programs.
