Marketing Manager
This is an amazing opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading social media brands, this will be a role for somebody who needs to stay busy and engaged in their role. The team are looking for a somebody with strong product marketing experience within a tech environment.
Duties:
- Develop retail programmes to push Rift, Oculus platform and Gear VR
- Support Rift retail expansion into new stores and new European markets
- Create retail marketing programmes for new software titles and code to content
- Ensure effective localization of all marketing assets and support retailers to promote and sell Oculus products
- Support inbound/online marketing programmes across social media, blogs, websites, mobile, CRM, & email that drives dialog, engagement, retention and advocacy across communities
- Support the planning and execution of consumer events and trade shows including Gamescom, and Paris Games Week in conjunction with the Global events team in MPK
- Build relationship with Europe retailers and support them with operational needs around Oculus retail programmes
Skills:
- 2+ years in marketing role, with a clear record of achievement and success in technology based consumer product marketing and/or product management
- Demonstrable experience of go to market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels
- A record of excellence in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available for social media engagement with consumers and trade
- Proven knowledge in selling consumer goods within both e-tail and retail capacity with experience of the leading operators globally including Amazon, and the leading video game specialists in each region
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills and demonstrate strong business acumen that reflects the Oculus values
- A deep understanding of gaming and gamers and a passionate advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies and social media
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, ideally with post-graduate business/marketing qualification
