Description
Harvey Nash's Public Sector client in Edinburgh requires a Corporate Communications Officer to join them on an initial 6 month contract. You will be based in the client's City Centre office, joining an expanding communications team.
The client has increased their activity on various digital platforms, and require additional resource to provide a range of support to enable the department to deliver their internal and external communications objectives.
You will work on a range of communications tasks, including:
. Lead on social media strategy - developing campaigns, monitoring content, producing analytics
. Create enticing content for internal staff news site
. Managing promotional projects
. Consistent promotion of organisation initiatives across stakeholders and external partners
. Support production of external stakeholder publications
. Support proactive media work via case studies, news release and handling media enquires
. Provide communications advise and expertise for a range of management, stakeholders and staff
You will come from a background in corporate communications, with comprehensive knowledge in social media, online stakeholder engagement and marketing/campaign planning, as well as:
. Degree in relevant subject
. Proven experience writing for a range of audiences across various media
. Experience providing high level communications support to senior management
. Experience maintaining records and producing reports and statistics
. Experience within a PR/marketing role
. Web Development experience
