Windows Engineer (DWH, Oracle)
A Windows Engineer (DWH, Oracle) is urgently required for a long term, lucrative contract with a major Financial Services client in Amsterdam.
The Windows Engineer (DWH, Oracle) will ideally have 65% of the following skills and experience -
- Experience with OS Windows Server 2008 or 2012 administration, and Shell/batch Scripting
- Experience with Oracle 12 database;
- Experience with COTS web-based application based on Middleware like WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, IIS
- At least bachelor level education
- Basic understanding of network concepts, virtualization, AD, security concepts
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, LCM and patch management.
- Team player, excellent communication skills (English mandatory)
- Drive for continuous process improvement as a team with high quality standards
- Experience with application security setup and deployment processes is an important plus;
- Experience in agile way of working (scrum) is a plus;
The Windows Engineer (DWH, Oracle) will be highly motivated and able to implement, support and optimize a Windows based Commercial-of-the-Shelf solution.
The Windows Engineer (DWH, Oracle) will be required to contribute to an existing team - activities vary from installing, tuning, patching, documenting, testing, automating, up to implementing UAM, continuous delivery processes, troubleshooting, etc. Both project and operational tasks are part of work.
