My client is currently undergoing a multimillion pound programme of transformation across all of their core web applications, sites and portals. The priority is to bring them on to the latest technology platforms and enable them for mobile and tablet devices, as well as future proofing them.
You will be joining a dedicated of over 40 people which is going to increase in 2016.
This is an exciting and high profile programme of work, where the very latest tools and technologies are at your disposal.
Responsibilities:
- Work with graphic designers and software engineers to create Front End code for interactive applications including web sites and HTML5 banners.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility of work products with the major web browsers
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Conduct proper testing of applications including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing and deployment testing
Required Skills:
- 3+ years developing Front End web applications
- Expert knowledge of HTML5
- Expert knowledge of CSS 3
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience working with jQuery
- Required experience in responsive design and implementation
- Experience in building multi-platform (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet) compatible web sites and banners
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail when developing Front End user interfaces from design mock-ups
- Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot problems in code
- Aptitude for developing applications that adhere to and satisfy all requirements
