Description
Solutions Architect required for a leading global technology driven based Leeds.
Reporting into the Chief Architect you will work part of a solutions team ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and meet business, technical and operational needs. You will also responsible for defining and documenting technical solutions and communicating those out the wider business.
Solutions Architect
Working closely with multiple suppliers, you will lead the design of the integration architecture for a transformed IT estate. Produce, articulate and gain key stakeholder agreement of technology specific standards and best practice guidelines to guide the implementation of that design. Assure and in some cases, direct the physical implementation of that integration architecture.
Knowledge:
- Design and implementation of Software/Web Solutions
- Technically aware - Exposure to a variety of technologies and vendors across a variety of domains
- All phases of the software delivery project life cycle
- Development techniques (agile, Scrum, waterfall etc.)
- Bespoke application development management
- OpenSource
Experience:
- Solution Architect (or similar) role in a mid - large organisation
- Operating in an international environment
- Architecture and Design within both an Agile and waterfall delivery model
- Working with third party, offshore development partners
- Working as part of large teams in a wide variety of technologies
- Delivering significant technology initiatives
