Senior Business/Data Analyst SQL Dublin contract 6 months.
My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Business/Data Analyst to join them on a contract for 6 months with view for extension.
Candidates will have Strong skills using Excel (or other data analysis, data mining tools) to analyse large amounts of data, Experience data mining and analysing textual data from various sources, eg Social media, product telemetry. Candidates will have Experience in the analysis of large data sets to find useful relationships across time. Candidates will have Ability to Extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets and investigate and report on key findings. Candidates will have Ability to turn data driven trends into business-focused recommendations as well as Setting up a process to regularly analyse data, generate and present key findings to business.
It would be seen as advantageous to:
Nice to have - may have experience with some statistics package (SAS, SPSS, S, R, etc.)
Nice to have - grasp of basic statistics, hypothesis testing/sampling distributions, and simple descriptive statistics.
